Layout: Fabulously Fudgie Facial Fuzz

Yes, it took me a LOOOOONG time to come up with that title - LOL. I love these photos taken after Thurman had thoroughly enjoyed a chocolate cupcake. He "grew" a goatee making him look just like his dad! It was hilarious! I also used the "All Natural" kit by Phantom Scraps for this layout (I love the colors). The cupcakes are from an unknown source.

Layout: Fried!

Caleb was so cute! He wanted to make french fries, so I told him to put some fries on a pan in a single layer while the oven preheated. The result: a neatly spaced and organized collection of fries! They did turn out delicious! I used a brand new kit by Phantom Scraps called "All Natural" for this layout!

Layout: On the Go

Here's another new layout about Logan. I love the way he learned to crawl - on one knee and one foot - he sort of scoots more than crawls. It's so funny and cute! He gets around, though! I love the colors in this kit by Shanmomto4 Designs called "Zoom Zoom".

Layout: Cool Dude

I love how this layout turned out! From the wordart to the entire layout, I am really happy with this one! The kit I used is called "Summer Days". It was a freebie collab by Digi Designs by Nicole and Gettin' Scrappy with Britt. I did use templates for this layout, but I have no idea who they are from - if you know, please tell me so I can give proper credit.

This is this year's Easter layout for the family album. I used a kit called "Hippity Hoppity" by Andrea (Here a Scrap, There a Scrap).

Layout: Easter Fun (Christian)

Stepping away from the templates for this one. This is Christian's Easter layout for this year (just a little behind). The kit is one from Serif's Digital Scrapbook Artist (which is the program I use).

Layout: Now You See It

I've learned that when my hubby says he's going to get someone's hair "buzzed", he really means it! This haircut makes my baby look so grown up - it's going to take some getting used to! I used a kit by Shel Belle Scraps called Funky Grunge for this one - another great freebie! The templates are by ChrissyW.

Layout: Pint Size Prince Charming

This is Logan's 10 month layout for the family album. He has a unique way of crawling and feeding himself - both actions remind me of a hermit crab! He is such a charmer! This cute kit is by Valerie N Designs called Froggy's Pad. I used templates by Shazbutt's Digi-Scrapz (left page) and ChrissyW (right page).

Layout: Wild Thing

I know, I know. I can't get enough of this layout. It turned out so good I've been using for a page for everyone's album! This is Thurman's page about our new puppy, Peanut. This adorable kit is called "On a Safari" and it's by Designs by Chris. Templates by ChrissyW (yet again). Still love them!

Layout: Just Have Fun

We took the kids (yes, all 6 of them) to Lakemont Park in Altoona, PA last weekend. It's part amusement park (with some pretty cool rides) and part water park (I no longer do swimsuits, but I did get my feet wet - LOL). For $10.00 per person for admission, you can't beat it. And the best part - there was virtually no one else there! No waiting in lines for rides - it was so awesome! We all had a blast!

I got a brand new kit I couldn't wait to try out for Abigail's layout about our fun day. The kit is by Shanmomto4 Designs and it's called Lazy Summer Days. I recently discovered the use of templates which I LOVE! It makes it so quick and easy and I love adding my own touches. The templates for this layout are by ChrissyW.

Layout: Cutest Baby in the Universe

This is Logan's 9 month layout for the family album. He is growing up WAY WAY too fast. I know 6 kids is enough, but sometimes I still get that "baby lust", you know? Physically and emotionally, I'm exhausted. Financially, it's a struggle. But I love having a large family and I feel sad that Logan is my last baby.

Anyway, enough of my rambling - LOL. I must give credit where credit is due. This is such a cute cute kit. I downloaded it awhile back not having any clue what I would do with it - just thinking it was too cute to pass up. And it worked perfectly for this layout - love the colors and the cute elements! It's called "My Blue Period" and it's by Miss Kim Designs. I always wonder why some digital scrappers say they don't even bother with freebies - some of my absolute favorite kits have been freebies. Gotta love the designers who take the time to create these fabulous kits and then give them away. Kudos!

Layout: Another Year Older

This is Abigail's layout for her 10th birthday - hard to believe! I used a brand new digital kit by Shanmomto4 Designs called (what else?) - "Another Year Older"!

Layout: Easter Fun (Gabriel)

Here's another layout I did "scraplifting" the layout I used for Abigail's Easter page (below). I just changed out the paper and elements and then I had a totally new look - more funky and boyish! I used a digital collab kit called "Hello Easter" by Scrappy Cocoa, Nibble Scribbles and Digi Designs by Nicole. The bright non-traditional colors are great since I have several little men to do pages for!

Layout: "Monkey Boy"

This is Thurman's 21 month layout for his album. He is definitely a clown and love attention! I used a brand new kit by Un_Leash_ed Scraps called "Monkeying Around". I love the colors and the embellishments - especially the adorable ornery looking monkeys!

NOTE: All of the digital layouts on this blog that were posted prior to this layout - and including this layout - were produced using FotoFusion scrapbooking software by LumaPix. While this software is super easy to learn and use and while it has the capability of creating fantastic layouts, most digital scrappers will find themselves becoming frustrated with its lack of features after a short time (it took me 4 months). I would recommend this software only if you are brand new at digital scrapbooking and you want a software program this is simple and that you can jump right into. Otherwise, I would recommend Digital Scrapbook Artist by Serif (which all of my layouts starting with the next one are made with). It takes a bit more effort to learn, but has a TON of great features! And it's still a lot easier than PhotoShop (which I tried on several occasions, but it's over my head - and I don't have the time or patience to learn it). DSA also has a great, active forum where you can post questions (and get REAL answers promptly)! And I even found a trick for creating 2-page spreads with this program (e-mail me if you want to know)!

Layout: "This Moment"

This is something completely different for me. I "always" do 2-page layouts with lots of pictures and journaling. But I've been seeing all these layouts being done with just one photo, lots of embellishing and little to no journaling. They may not tell a story (which is why I do scrapbooking), but they are beautiful. I love this photo of my mom and Thurman so I wanted to do something special with it. I think the page turned out nicely if I do say so myself. I doubt I'll be making many pages like this (too many photos I want to use and too much to say - LOL), but it was fun and different!

I used a kit called "My Mother's Garden" by Shanmomto4 Designs. The colors are gorgeous!
