It's rare (well, actually unheard of) for all of us to agree on anything these days! With 4 teenagers, 2 little ones and us "old" parents, it just doesn't happen. But there's one love we all have in common (besides each other) and that's "The Walking Dead" television show! I planned a little party in celebration of the much-anticipated third season! We had snacks, games and - best of all - everyone gathered together to watch the awesome premiere!

This is Abigail's twelve-year-old layout. I have so much fun doing hers because I can use girly colors and accents! It gets challenging to do five boys' albums and the family album because I can't use feminine stuff! I am finishing up with the 8.5x11" layouts and moving to strictly all 12x12" layouts. For some reason, the smaller size albums and refills cost about three times as much and it's getting harder and harder to find layout ideas for that size page. Plus since I take so many photos and have so much to write about, the smaller pages just aren't giving me enough room to include everything I want to include.

Abigail was so proud of the gingerbread house she made! It was beautiful and even had Santa in his sled with reindeer pulling it. It was sad to see her dismantling it, but we all loved the yummy treat!

I am so blessed to have such wonderful kids, including friends of my kids! This layout was a request from my "adopted daughter", Abby. Her and Abigail (funny they have the same name) posed for this photo shoot so I could do a special layout of them together. I thought it turned out really pretty and I love doing girly pages since I get to do so few of them as opposed to "boy stuff".

I am working on layouts from all that snow that hit us living in the East coast from December through February. This is Abigail's layout. I don't normally do layouts with "scenes" made using the elements, but these little critters were just too cute not to use. These colors wouldn't normally be ones I would choose, but they were fantastic for snow layouts!

This is Abigail's layout from Christmas. I'm using this same layout for all the kids, just changing photos and colors, etc. I'm posting hers since it's the first one done.

Two Devilish Layouts: "Little Devil" and "Devilicious"

I did Thurman's "Little Devil" layout first and loved it so much, I did Abigail's Halloween page using the same layout but with different colors and elements. For Thurman's I again used Kristin Aagard Design's brand new kit called "Jailbird". Don't you love the horns, tail and pitchfork that came in the kit? Of course, Thurman isn't really a devil, but he does get into quite a bit of mischief and this layout is about a few particularly outstanding incidents. For Abigail's layout, I used a kit by Wicked Scrapz called "Devilicious". Even though she was techically a vampire for Halloween, I loved how this kit went with her costume. And vampires really are kind of devilish anyway, aren't they?

Layout: "Strawberry Blonde"

Okay, one more with the same layout! Just because I loved how it turned out with these fabulous girly colors! I don't get a chance to do girly layouts often compared to the number of boy layouts to do, so I get excited when I get a chance to do something this pretty! The kit I used is called "Heart's Wish" and it's by Miss Kim Designs.

Layout: "Abigail"

This is a title page I did for Abigail's newest completed album. I used a fabulous new kit from Shanmomto4 Designs called "Girly Girl."

Layout: "Frantic!"

Abigail made this adorable hermit crab in school. She named it Shelly. One day, Abigail had the unfortunate urge to take Shelly out to eat with us. Abigail was frantic when she realized she threw Shelly in the garbage at Long John Silvers inside her meal box! Thank God for the nice LJS employees who rescued Shelly from certain death! Shelly is now safe and sound at home - where Abigail swears she will stay! For this layout, I used a brand new kit by Shanmomto4 Designs called "You Light up my Day".

Layout: Wild Water Wars

Abigail's friend came over armed with water balloons. Unfortunately, they needed filled and it took awhile for us to figure out how to do it successfully. But once we did, they had a blast soaking each other! Again, I had fun using some bright, girly colors for this layout (I don't get to use these kinds of colors too often). The kit was a great freebie from Mel Hains Designs called "Bloomin' Beautiful".

Layout: Just Have Fun

We took the kids (yes, all 6 of them) to Lakemont Park in Altoona, PA last weekend. It's part amusement park (with some pretty cool rides) and part water park (I no longer do swimsuits, but I did get my feet wet - LOL). For $10.00 per person for admission, you can't beat it. And the best part - there was virtually no one else there! No waiting in lines for rides - it was so awesome! We all had a blast!

I got a brand new kit I couldn't wait to try out for Abigail's layout about our fun day. The kit is by Shanmomto4 Designs and it's called Lazy Summer Days. I recently discovered the use of templates which I LOVE! It makes it so quick and easy and I love adding my own touches. The templates for this layout are by ChrissyW.

Layout: Another Year Older

This is Abigail's layout for her 10th birthday - hard to believe! I used a brand new digital kit by Shanmomto4 Designs called (what else?) - "Another Year Older"!

Layout: "A Day with Duane"

Abigail had a field trip to go on and she invited Duane to go with her. It was nice that they had some "bonding" time together and Abigail was thrilled with the extra attention. For this layout, I used a brand new kit by Un_Leash_ed Scraps called "Uplifting". I love the colors - pinks, blues and greens with a hint of black.

Layout: It's a Jungle in There!

My daughter's room is usually a disaster zone. So I thought the least I could do was to have evidence of this for when she is someday complaining about her kids' messy rooms! This fun digital kit is by Un_Leash_Ed Scraps and it's called Jungle Party. The alphabet is by Shabby Princess. The font is Banty S.
