Oh my gosh, I am SO late with this one! Where did the time go? This was a CT layout done with Shanmomto4 Design's kit called "Cool and Collected". I love the colors! I just did a title page for Thurman's newest album since this kit makes a great boy or girl kit!blog wear

Layout: "Thurman"
Oh my gosh, I am SO late with this one! Where did the time go? This was a CT layout done with Shanmomto4 Design's kit called "Cool and Collected". I love the colors! I just did a title page for Thurman's newest album since this kit makes a great boy or girl kit!Monday, October 19, 2009
Layout: "Wild Times at Lakemont Park"
This is the family layout for our trip to Lakemont Park. I love love love this kit! The colors and embellishments are fantastic! It's brand new from Un-Leash-ed Scraps ("Mighty Jungle").Saturday, October 17, 2009
Layout: "Reward: Missing Hair"
When Duane says he's giving someone a haircut, RUN... DO NOT WALK the other direction! Of course, it wasn't his fault, though. The poor, defenseless clippers got the blame for Logan's new buzz do. I used a cute kit called "Snips and Snails". It was a collab from Flower Scraps by Deanna Jones and JW Digi Scraps.Thursday, October 8, 2009
Layout: "Just Play"
Layout: "Riley"
Introducing our adorable new Pug, Riley! I have always adored Pugs and we were given the opportunity to adopt this sweet little boy. He turns three this month. He is the sweetest, most lovable dog - he follows me everywhere and gets up to make his rounds every few minutes to check on the rest of the family, too. He's just too darn cute! For this layout, I used a brand new kit by Shanmomto4 Designs called "Autumn Breeze".Sunday, October 4, 2009
Layout: "Oops!"
Yep, he did it again! Just a couple weeks after getting 6 stitches to a nice gash on his leg, Thurman fell out of bed and ended up with 3 more stitches to his head! Here's hoping he's done with the injuries for now! I used a really cute kit called "Doctor's Orders" by Pamela Donnis Designs (I splurged and actually BOUGHT this one - a rarity for me)! Layout: "Brothers"
We got portraits done of our two little ones together and wanted to do a special layout with them. I love how this turned out using a fabulous free blog train kit from Daydreamer DesignWorks. It's called "Daydream Believer". The colors are wonderful for a whimsical, fun layout. The templates are by ChrissyW.Tuesday, September 15, 2009
Layout: "Celebrations of Very Special Lives"
This is the family scrapbook layout for everyone's 2009 birthdays (except mine, which isn't until November). I love this new kit by Shanmomto4 Designs called "Dreaming of You". Purples and greens are one of my favorite color combinations!Tuesday, September 8, 2009
Layout: "Little Chatter Monkey"
Thurman is going through that "language explosion" phase and is picking up new words every day - unfortunately, a couple of them aren't good words - wonder where he got those ones from? **pointing at hubby behind his back** I especially love how he says his siblings' names. And the way he calls himself "Purmie" is just too cute!I used the "Going Bananas" kit by Kay Miller Designs (one of the few kits I actually bought - and at least I got my money's worth - I've used it several times).
Layout: "Love Fights Fair"
I was doing The Love Dare challenge from the movie "Fireproof" and I came up with this layout to remind my hubby about the "fighting rules" we agreed to so that hopefully we will keep things from escalating to a damaging level. I printed it, we signed it, I framed it and then hung it on the wall in our room. I used a kit called "Celebrate Love" by Shel Belle Scraps. PS - "The Love Dare" is an awesome book about love. Even if you don't want to do the daily challenges, the 40 days worth of devotional reading is more than worth the few dollars the book costs. Every chapter is just a few pages and it's all about love and marriage and gives new insights into both.

Layout: "Stitched on the 4th of July"
Duane and I both worked the 4th of July, so my mom and dad watched the kids for us. Thurman snuck into the shed behind Gabriel and cut his leg on something (we still have no idea what). He ended up getting six stitches! I left work to go be with him, but by the time I got there, he was all done. Mom said he did great. We had to change his bandage daily and he was fascinated by his "boo boo". When we went to get the stitches out, it was a different story. Two of them had become embedded in his skin and it took trips to 3 places before they finally were able to remove them. Yikes! I used a kit called "Let Freedom Ring" by Amy Stoffel. The fireworks are by Scraps by Jenn.Layout: "ONEderful"

Layout: "Frantic!"
Abigail made this adorable hermit crab in school. She named it Shelly. One day, Abigail had the unfortunate urge to take Shelly out to eat with us. Abigail was frantic when she realized she threw Shelly in the garbage at Long John Silvers inside her meal box! Thank God for the nice LJS employees who rescued Shelly from certain death! Shelly is now safe and sound at home - where Abigail swears she will stay! For this layout, I used a brand new kit by Shanmomto4 Designs called "You Light up my Day".
