Thurman watches and tries to copy everything we do. Here, he is trying to fix his own hair and Logan's hair. I'm sort of thinking he just wanted an excuse to make Logan wet, though. I used a great freebie collab kit called "Fresh" by Digi Designs by Nicole, Shel Belle Scraps and Stolen Moments.

Layout: "Brothers"
We got portraits done of our two little ones together and wanted to do a special layout with them. I love how this turned out using a fabulous free blog train kit from Daydreamer DesignWorks. It's called "Daydream Believer". The colors are wonderful for a whimsical, fun layout. The templates are by ChrissyW.

Layout: "Celebrations of Very Special Lives"
This is the family scrapbook layout for everyone's 2009 birthdays (except mine, which isn't until November). I love this new kit by Shanmomto4 Designs called "Dreaming of You". Purples and greens are one of my favorite color combinations!

Layout: "Little Chatter Monkey"
Thurman is going through that "language explosion" phase and is picking up new words every day - unfortunately, a couple of them aren't good words - wonder where he got those ones from? **pointing at hubby behind his back** I especially love how he says his siblings' names. And the way he calls himself "Purmie" is just too cute!
I used the "Going Bananas" kit by Kay Miller Designs (one of the few kits I actually bought - and at least I got my money's worth - I've used it several times).
Layout: "Love Fights Fair"
I was doing The Love Dare challenge from the movie "Fireproof" and I came up with this layout to remind my hubby about the "fighting rules" we agreed to so that hopefully we will keep things from escalating to a damaging level. I printed it, we signed it, I framed it and then hung it on the wall in our room. I used a kit called "Celebrate Love" by Shel Belle Scraps.
PS - "The Love Dare" is an awesome book about love. Even if you don't want to do the daily challenges, the 40 days worth of devotional reading is more than worth the few dollars the book costs. Every chapter is just a few pages and it's all about love and marriage and gives new insights into both.
