Why I Scrapbook...

This is a new thing for me, so bear with me. I wanted to find a place to display my digital scrapbook layouts of my family. I use some scrapbook galleries, but my galleries and layouts get buried beneath hundreds upon hundreds of others, so I thought I'd try this route and see how it goes.

A little about myself: I am the happily married mom of six wonderful, gorgeous kids - 5 boys and 1 girl - ranging in age from 9 months up to 13 years old. I am a nurse at a long term care facility. In my spare time (what little there is of it), I enjoy scrapbooking. I have been doing traditional (paper) scrapbooking for around 12 years and just recently switched over to digital scrapbooking - which I love and is completely addicting!

I love scrapbooking because it's a way for me to preserve those precious memories of my children who are all growing up too fast! Their albums will be theirs to take with them when they leave home (sniff, sniff). I hope the layouts will show them how much I love them and how much I treasured every moment with them. I hope one day their spouses, children and grandchildren will enjoy them as well. And that the scrapbooks will live on well after I'm gone as a legacy of my love for my family.
